Results.
Results results,
results, results.
Whenever people talk about doing a task or completing a project,
the cheesiest corniest line tags along,
what matters was the process and what we learnt throughout,
the results don't really matter.
Learning process,
growing up mentally,
maturing from the inside, blahblah.
However, ironically
most of our lives are dependant on these same results that don't matter.
Be it your very first major exams - PSLE
the stepping stone to greater things - O-levels
the so-called final test and sieving between the good and the better, - A-levels
or handing up your final project that will matter SO much to you,
yet you have to make that senseless claim,
'Results don't matter, it's the process that matters the most'
And now everyone is frowning cus the results are coming out.
Okay, by studying for this important exam,
I have learnt to manage my time better,
I have learnt to plan my work better,
I have a much more matured thinking now.
But if the results don't make the cut,
ohwells, you're down to the same level as a person who hasn't benefited much from the process,
and neither from his results.
Or someone can yield nothing from the process,
just simply memorizing the whole stack of notes, getting great results,
and heck, he's most probably gonna get further in life than you.
Blahblahblah I have no idea what I'm typing anyways. This whole chunk was typed in a span of 5hours.
Goodlucks to all.
It's not Good Friday tmr but most people certainly hope that it's gonna be a Good Friday.
