WEEEEEEEE
Caught the much-hyped movie Cloverfield yesterday.
(WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS)
The movie was generally great, with the whole movie being shot on a camcorder but one has to ask himself how the heck a camcorder has such an amazing battery life.
But what amazed me was that it didn't feel scripted, and the actors were more like 'reacting' than 'acting'. I felt like the people were my friends. I felt that I was running through New York City with them[surprisingly I did not feel nauseous]. I would most probably have followed what they did in a scenario like that too anyway (except running back to where the monster was just to save a girl who might've died long ago)
The monster was huge, and fugly, and spawned little crawly things. But these crawly things were just there for the scare factor; for they were too easily defeated.
For those out there who expects answers to their questions, you should just stop bothering (its made by the creators of Lost, anyway)
We never know what happened to the monster, what happened to Lily in the first chopper, what happened to Marlena[was she shot or did she implode?], what happened to Manhattan[nuked?], or where the monster had come from.
The movie plot is simple, it just shows this series of events of a HUGE monster owning NYC inside out.
That's all. No explanations, no aftermaths. Simple as that.
Back to reality; lotsa homework and I can't seem to finish em.
And so it is halfway through January.
We have people complaining about how slow time passes by and all, but seriously I think it is happening all too quickly. Soon enough it's gonna be the end of the year.
And crap, before that we have the Alevels.
I realised that my JC life has been all boring and blank.
There's nothing recorded on the seismometer yet. No big events, no huge ripples.
D: That's totally boring.
And they say love will keep us alive.
